Dr. Deepti Pal, owner of South Park Animal Hospital, discovered her passion for animals as a young girl while watching and assisting her veterinarian father. Growing up in a family of veterinarians, she developed an early appreciation for the human–animal bond and the role compassionate medicine plays in supporting it.

Dr. Annie Ro grew up in Southern California surrounded by family and many beloved pets, which sparked her early interest in veterinary medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA and went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis.

Dr. Zerina Burovic grew up in San Diego and developed a love for animals early in life. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from UC Santa Cruz before attending St. George’s University on the Caribbean island of Grenada. She completed her clinical training at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
